Allied Health Assistants
Our Allied Health Assistants can be a great option for some children to receive more regular, cost-effective therapy support. After your child has an assessment with one of our qualified Speech Pathologists, a personalised therapy plan is created. This plan is then delivered by one of our trained Allied Health Assistants.

Our Assistants are in their third and final years of studying Speech Pathology and have lots of experience working with children who have different communication needs. They are closely supervised and supported by our senior team to make sure your child receives high-quality care every step of the way.
Fees
Our therapy rates for Allied Health Assistant support are based on the rates currently provided through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are able to provide services to participants looking to pay privately, who are plan-managed through NDIS, or who are self-managed through NDIS.
1 hour, 10 minutes (10 minutes for preparation, resource creation and planning, 50 minute sessions + 10 minutes for session note writing and follow up)

Speech Pathology
At Chatterbox Therapy Services, we support children from birth to 18 years old with a wide range of needs. We work with children with or without a diagnosis, as long as their needs fall within our area of expertise.
Assessment
NDIS Clients
Chatterbox’s assessment fee includes travel to your preferred location, an initial case history, formal/informal assessment of your child and a comprehensive assessment report encompassing strategies, goals and recommendations.
The amount of time taken to complete the assessment may vary and will be discussed within your initial phone or email consultation.

Therapy
NDIS Clients
Our therapy rates are based on the rates currently provided through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are currently able to provide services to participants who are Plan Managed or Self Managed.
70 minute sessions (10 minutes for preparation, resource creation and planning, 50 minutes face to face + 10 minutes for session note writing and follow up)

Private Clients
Our privately funded families and children are offered a subsidised therapy rate and have the option of working within 45 minute or 60 minute therapy blocks. We are able to accept Medicare Plans from your GP or Paediatrician to further reduce the cost of therapy services. The receipt from services can be reimbursed through your child’s Medicare plan.
